Owner Still 'Picking Up the Pieces' After Van Crashes Through Lego Store
The clean-up is still underway at Bricks & Minifigs in Grand Rapids, Michigan after a man crashed a van into a store full of Legos.
Julia Petersen, a co-owner of Bricks & Minifigs told News 8 “You can’t really process it the moment it happens.” On Saturday, in the middle of the night, the van can be seen on security camera bursting through the store, sending Lego pieces and glass flying.
As for the driver of the van, well, police have not yet identified him and are asking the public for any information that may lead to his identification, however, Peterson said, “We hope they’re okay."
Thankfully no one was injured, that authorities know of, and we hope those volunteering for the clean-up efforts are all wearing their best shoes because they're going to need it.
